uCreate Knowledge Base

Check out our knowledge base for in-depth advice on using our equipment, a great refresher for those who have already completed our equipment training.

uCreate is The University of Edinburgh's free community makerspace, loans and multimedia service. We are open to all students, staff and alumni of the University and offer advice, training, and support to help you make (almost) anything.

Makerspace Status

New training:

Laser cutting is back!

Our new laser cutter, the Epilog Fusion Edge, will be available to book from 10th March!

Trainings are currently live and bookable on our website! It is mandatory to complete the laser cutter training in order to use the laser cutter.

If you completed the laser training for our previous machine last year (the Muse Titan), you do not need to complete the training again.
