Calibration: Calibration is adjusting something to use in the correct way. In Einscan Pro, calibration is used to adjust the right light settings to scan according to the environment.
Calibration Process
1. Prepare Scanner:
Remove the scanner if it is on the turntable.
2. Prepare Calibration Board:
Place the calibration board on a table.
3. Open Einscan Pro Software:
Open the software (EinScan-Pro series for Einscan Pro and EXScan Pro for Einscan Pro 2x Plus) and click the calibration panel.
4. Follow Calibration Instructions:
Follow the instructions on the calibration panel. Press the scan button next to the handle of the scanner once and release. Move the scanner from bottom to top while watching the steps on the screen until all distance bars on the screen appears green. You can go back if you miss a bar.
5. Rotate Calibration Board:
You will need to place the calibration board in 5 different positions. In placing the calibration board, pay attending to dots around the middle square on the calibration board to be the same direction with the one on screen. Remember to hold the scanner vertically in each time.
6. Check Calibration Status:
When you complete all steps, the software will calculate the data and show if calibration is successful. If the calibration fails, the steps from 1 to 5 should be repeated. The calibration may fail because the calibration board was not placed as shown in the software or the scanner was not hold perpendicular to the table.
7. Prepare White Balance Calibration:
For White Balance Calibration (Only for Colour Camera), turn the calibration board around to use the white board.
8. Follow White Balance Calibration Instructions:
Follow the instruction on the screen for white balance. Press the scan button once and release. Move the scanner from bottom to top.
