Makerspace Induction + optional training

Induction 
Attend this induction at the uCreate makerspace in order to gain access to the space and equipment.
This induction covers health and safety, general information and basic equipment instructions.
This induction does not go into any specific detail on how to use any particular piece of makerspace equipment.

Optional Follow up training

Every induction is immediately followed by a 45 - 60 minute specific equipment training for which, by signing up to this induction, a space will automatically be kept for you (but your attendance is optional).

Please see our event booking calendar to determine the specific training on the day of your induction.

Please note, for anyone who doesnt yet know much about the space or what they want to work with or for those whom are already very proficient with the equipment they wish to use and dont feel they need extra guidance, the follow-up training is optional and you do not have to attend.

However you cannot use the laser cutter or soldering equipment in the Makerspace without completing the training.
