BASIC OPERATIONS

Paragraph

1    - Place LIDAR on the tripod and press push (power) button. 
2    - Open Recap Pro on iPad
3    - Start Scanning by pressing push button on the scanner or press “new scan” on Recap Pro on iPad. Move the scanner into a new location and make another scan until whole area covered.
4    - Connect iPad to computer, start Recap Pro on computer and click “transfer from mobile device”. 
5    - Clean unnecessary points on point cloud and then export the point cloud. 
6    - Create mesh from the point cloud using Meshlab or CloudCompare.

Recap Pro application on tables is only available for iPad Pro. While Recap Pro desktop application is only supported by Windows.
